The last quarter of 2025 is here, and with it, a chance to reflect on the momentum built in Q3, a season defined by growth, creativity, and impact.
From bold storytelling to strategic media and digital campaigns across Africa and beyond, this past quarter reminded us why we do what we do: tell stories that connect, spark conversations, and inspire change. Here’s to carrying that energy forward into the rest of 2025.
Show Up Communications in Action
This quarter, our work focused on celebrating the power of youth, amplifying Africa’s voices, and strengthening the connections that unite us. We spotlighted the role of young people in shaping the continent’s future, sharing stories of innovation, resilience, and leadership. We also explored collaboration and cross-cultural understanding, marking International Translation Day with reflections on communication beyond borders.
And because creativity thrives on balance, our team took a moment to unwind at the Blankets and Wine Concert, a reminder that inspiration often lives beyond the workspace. Each story this last quarter reminded us that communication isn’t just what we say; it’s how we connect, preserve, and build Africa’s shared story.

Highlights:
Fortify Forward Innovation Challenge (FFIC) – Nutrition Connect
In July, we shared key highlights from the Fortify Forward Innovation Challenge (FFIC) 2024-2025. This regional competition aims to combat hidden hunger and address malnutrition in all its forms while improving public health in Africa. It also showcases African innovations in food fortification using locally available ingredients. We highlighted 24 standout innovations supported through the challenge, featuring contributions from both East and West Africa. Additionally, we discussed the critical leadership roles that African innovators and policymakers must assume to accelerate impact and celebrated all the winners.
WSIS+20 Forum and AI for Good Global Summit 2025– iPRIS Project
In July, we also featured the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum and the AI for Good Global Summit 2025. It brought together leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from around the globe to discuss the future of the information society. The event featured participation from National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) such as Uganda Communications Commission, Posts and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ), Ivory Coast – Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARTCI), Regulatory Authority for Posts and Telecommunications of Guinea (ARPT), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), and National Communications Authority (NCA), Somalia. Other notable participants include the Ghana Cyber Security Authority, African ICT Alliance (AfICTA), the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Digital Economy, Guinea, and the Ministry of ICT, Zimbabwe. From localised infrastructure planning and gender-inclusive leadership to AI governance and structural digital reform, discussions were clear: Africa is not catching up; Africa is shaping the digital future.
2025C Second French Round in Luxembourg – September
From September 6 to 24, 2025, iPRIS organised the Institutional Strengthening – Cycle 2025C training in Luxembourg, bringing together ICT policymakers, regulators, and change leaders.
This training session marked the second French cohort, which included ICT experts from the Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARCEP Benin), the Regulatory Authority for Posts and Telecommunications (ARPT) of the Republic of Guinea, the Telecommunications Regulatory Board (ART) of Cameroon, and ARCEP Gabon.
This program reflects iPRIS’s commitment to equipping African regulators with the tools, networks, and insights necessary to develop inclusive and future-ready ICT sectors.
Rockefeller – Mission 300 Fellowship
In early September, we provided media support for the Rockefeller Foundation’s Mission 300 Fellowship, an initiative focused on addressing the lack of electricity access in Africa. This program aims to help communities improve their lives by expanding electricity access to 300 million people across the continent by 2030.
